The Weller by Cohiba (2024) marks the fourth release in Scandinavian Tobacco Group's collaboration with Sazerac Company and their fan-favorite Weller bourbon. Over the years, the cigars themselves have become more involved with the bourbon, and the 2024 edition continues this trend, specifying the Weller bourbon barrels that were used to age the cigar's tobacco for the first time. The cigar ties into the highly sought-after Weller Full Proof bourbon, featuring a similar blue design and tobaccos (Connecticut Broadleaf used as the binder) that were aged in spent bourbon barrels that formerly contained Weller Full Proof. The remainder of the blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
