Weller by Cohiba (2023)

General Cigar Company and the Sazerac Company collaborate for the third time in the Weller by Cohiba line, showcasing an all-new blend for 2023. Aside from the size (6" x 50) and binder (barrel-aged Connecticut Broadleaf), nearly everything about the project has been tweaked. The cigar begins with a Nicaraguan wrapper from the Jalapa growing region. This leaf surrounds the cigar's signature ingredient, featuring Broadleaf tobacco aged in spent Weller bourbon barrels (which were transported from Kentucky to General Cigar's factory in the Dominican Republic). Finally, the filler now includes Nicaraguan leaves from the country's Jalapa and Estelí regions, as well as Brazilian Mata Fina.
