Surrogates Back Line

The Surrogates Back Line is a two-vitola release that draws inspiration from guitar amplifiers, packaged in boxes styled after classic VOX amps. Inside each box are 10 cigars of the EL454 (4" x 54) and EL554 (5" x 54) formats, blended with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The concept originated from co-founder Dan Welsh, who noticed a resemblance between amp tubes and cigar heads while servicing his gear. Described as medium-full with a clean profile, this limited release is capped at 1,000 boxes and is expected to return annually with future blends tied to different amp styles.
