CRAFT Maquette Steel Porcupine

Steel Porcupine joined RoMa Craft's CRAFT Maquette series in 2025, showcasing a mellower blend when compared to previous additions to the limited collection. The name originates from a concept put forward by European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen as part of a long-term security vision for Ukraine. Her core idea was that Ukraine should be equipped with such strong defensive capabilities that any future aggression—whether by Russia or another hostile power—would appear implausible, simply because the cost of attack would be too high. In terms of blend, the cigars feature an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (the same leaf used for the company’s Intemperance EC XVIII line); this leaf surrounds an African Cameroon binder and fillers from Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Rolled in a single 4½" x 56 format, the Steel Porcupine was limited to 796 bundles of 10 cigars.
