Protocol Crime Scene Unit

Protocol Cigars' Crime Scene Unit debuted in 2025, marking the first blend in the brand's core core "P" lineup in five years. The blend was made with the help of A.J. Fernández and Héctor J. Alfonso Sr., featuring an authentic Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper for the first time from Protocol. This leaf was joined by a Mexican San Andrés maduro binder and Nicaraguan Criollo and Corojo fillers from Jalapa and Estelí. Rolled in a single 6½” x 50 toro extra size, the Crime Scene Unit was initially limited to 150 boxes of 10 cigars, with (at least) another 150 slated for a later date.
