Emergence debuted in 2024 as the first core-line offering from Peter James Cigar Co., a joint venture between Peter James Co., Luciano Meirelles, and Tiago Splitter. The Emergence is positioned as a super-premium experience, featuring an Ecuadorian Corojo hybrid viso wrapper from the Loja region of the country. This leaf surrounds a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and fillers of Dominican Piloto Cubano, Nicaragua, and the United States. Additionally, the tobaccos are said to be fermented between three and 10 years. Production is limited to a single rolling pair, capped at 100 cigars per day.
