This is my favorite of the NUBs!
Like many other NUbs, this cigar is best broken down into halves rather than thirds. The first half starts very mellow despite producing generous amounts of smoke. Subtle leather with a strong punch of spice. A slight nuttiness like hazelnut made me wish for vanilla or cocoa notes. Things really ramped up in the second half. The leather and hazelnut flavors gave way to a strong flavor of toasted pecan/roasted chestnuts 🌰. There is a kick of white pepper. Construction is good, I had to touch it up a bit in the second half. It developed a crack towards the very end but that was probably my fault. It did not affect the smoke. Overall I’m glad I bought a five pack of these.
