Five years after acquiring the rights to the Fonseca brand (and four years after the debut of the first Fonseca cigar by My Father), the García family now showcases the Fonseca Edition MX as the first line extension. This blend replaces the Nicaraguan shade-grown Corojo '99 wrapper of the original with a darker Mexican San Andrés leaf, surrounding all-Nicaraguan tobaccos grown by the Garcías throughout the binder and filler.
