My Father Blue marked the first release from the Garcías' first factory in Honduras, being located in the El Paraíso region. Not only did the Garcías open a new factory, but they bought farmland as well, using leaves from Finca La Opulencia as the core of the My Father Blue cigar blend. With all-Honduran binders and fillers, the cigars are finished with a lighter-than-usual Connecticut Broadleaf rosado wrapper.
