Macanudo Emissary España debuted in 2024 as the kickoff blend for the brand's Emissary line, taking inspiration from the European palate. The cigar's signature ingredient is a unique leaf harvested from the Riolobos region of Spain, which is a rocky terroir that produces thick and oily leaves capable of delivering both intensity and complexity. This leaf is joined by five-year-aged Dominican Piloto, six-year-aged Nicaraguan tobacco, and five-year-aged Colombian tobacco in the filler. The binder continues the vintage theme, being a six-year-aged leaf from Nicaragua's Condega region. Finally, the wrapper is a light-hued Connecticut Broadleaf claro that was aged for five years.
