The La Gloria Cubana Trunk Show Liga LR-1 (2012) cigar debuted alongside the Liga YG-23, together making up the limited Trunk Show series. The Liga LR-1 blend boasted a Habano Connecticut Fino wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan interior, being limited to 500 Boxes of 26 cigars. Interestingly, both cigars showcased smokable bands, which were marketed as a first for the industry. The Liga LR-1's band was produced using a patent-pending die cut process; meanwhile, the Liga YG-23 was stamped with a patent-pending vegetable dye.
