Retailer JR Cigar introduced the JR Revival 70s line in 2024, being the first release in the JR Revival series, which takes enthusiasts on a decade-by-decade journey, starting with the 1970s. The time period was chosen for the era that JR came into the industry, and the company has partnered with the Quesada family to capture the smooth Dominican style that the 1970s were known for. Rolled in a single toro format, the JR Revival 70s features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Sumatran binder, and aged fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
