The Encore Noir follows the Encore Black from E.P. Carrillo, each being darker than the original Encore cigar from the company. With the Encore Noir, the cigars were designed for the international market (though certain US retailers have acquired the cigars and are offering them to US customers). The Noir is rolled in a single 5⅜" x 52 format called the Majestic No. 2, using an Ecuadorian wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. At the 2024 launch, the cigars were limited to 3,000 boxes of 10 cigars per year.
