El Cubano

El Cubano debuted in 2023 as a second wave of cigars from newcomer El Mago Cigars. With El Cubano, the line moves away from the imagery of owner/founder, Nick Fusco, and his loving grandparents, who provided inspiration for the company after tragically passing in 2021. With El Cubano, the cigars feature imagery of a palm tree and the Cuban flag, said to be inspired from the Miami-Cuban culture. The cigars are among the most affordable from El Mago, and use a Connecticut destapado wrapper, Honduran binder, and fillers from Estelí, Nicaragua.
