El Baton Firecracker

United Cigars expanded their Firecracker series in 2025 with the addition of the El Baton Firecracker by J.C. Newman. As usual, the cigars were rolled in a short format (3½" x 50 petit robusto), featuring the line's signature fuse-tail cap. The project was said to commemorate Stanford Newman, a second-generation cigar maker who, in 1965, pioneered the use of Cameroon tobacco in premium cigars. While the standard El Baton cigar features a Habano wrapper, the El Baton Firecracker swapped the leaf for Cameroon, surrounding an all-Nicaraguan interior blend. The project was limited to 500 boxes of 20 cigars.
