The El Alcalde blend from Don Doroteo was an aged cigar run discovered in the La Aurora factory of the DR, having 15 years' age at the time of release (being rolled in 2008). The cigars were rolled in a 6¼" x 52 toro size, featuring an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and binder, and containing fillers from Brazil and the Cibao region of the DR. There were 3,000 cigars made available for the El Alcalde release.
