  1. I’m kind of surprised no one has weighed in here, so I figured I would, since this is a top 5 stick for me. I’m not a huge Davidoff fanboy, only liking about 25% of their brands, but this is one of the awesome ones. Dark, rich, espresso, chocolate and later-developing molasses mix with the faint hints from the scotch barrel aging (I don’t know of any other sticks made with tobaccos aged in scotch barrels). Full-bodied but incredibly smooth. Strength is where the med.-bold category meets bold. The perfect stick for enjoying a 90 or higher proof scotch if, like me, you like to go similar, and not opposite, on your pairings. Only negatives are not a zillion different flavors, and despite the impeccable construction otherwise, these sticks consistently like to have ash tapped off every 1/2″ to 1″, and not the burn pattern, but the edges of the ash pile itself, tend to get a bit ragged as it burns. If you’re huge on perfect ash, this is not the stick for you.
