Caldwell's The King is Dead cigar is one of three original core-line offerings from Caldwell Cigar Co., joining the Long Live the King and Eastern Standard lines. The blend originally featured a highly specific recipe of a Dominican negrito wrapper from the 2008 crop, a 2006 Corojo Dominicano binder, and Dominican fillers of ’06, ’08, and ’10 vintages. It has now been simplified to use a Dominican negrito wrapper and all-Dominican binder/filler.
