The S&R (aka Serpents and Rainbows) line from Black Works Studio was first announced in 2016, though its release was delayed until 2018. The cigars have since returned every few years, though the blend was not changed until the 2023 release. This launch featured a barber pole wrapper of dark Sumatra from Indonesia and a lighter shade-grown Ecuadorian Connecticut pair. The two-tone cover surrounded an Ecuadorian Habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
