The Rio

The Rio cigar comes by way of Blackbird Cigar Co. and Privada Cigar Club. The cigars were said to have been rolled for personal use by the Blackbird team, and could not be branded "Blackbird" due to FDA restrictions. Instead, Privada used their own Rio branding, featuring the famed Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, alluding to the tobaccos within the blend. The cigar boasts a Brazilian wrapper and binder, with fillers of Nicaragua and the DR, being aged for two and a half years at the time of release.
