The first-ever collaboration between Cigar Dojo and Black Star Line, Yasuke was named after the the first black samurai, marrying Cigar Dojo’s Japanese-inspired ethos with Black Star Line’s heritage as a black-owned cigar company. The cigars were rolled with some of the finest-grade leaves available from Aganorsa Leaf, including Nicaraguan Corojo 2012 (Aganorsa's latest/prized seed varietal) as both the wrapper and binder component. Additionally, the recipe veers from Aganorsa's all-Nicaraguan filler blending style, being one of the only cigars to come out of the Aganorsa factory with Mexican tobacco (San Andrés) within the filler. The remainder of the filler includes Nicaraguan leaves from the Jalapa and Estelí growing regions. The cigars were rolled in a single 6" x 52 toro format, being topped with a pigtail cap as a nod to the chonmage (topknot) hairstyle worn by samurai. Yasuke debuted in October 2024, being limited to 300 bundles of 10 cigars.
