The Uru Doshi (2024) cigar launched four years after the original Uru Doshi cigar, with each arriving on Leap Day. Tying into Cigar Dojo's Asian influence, the cigar's name translates from Japanese to mean leap year. Uru Doshi has become one of the most unique projects in the realm of limited series, allowing for each release to be compared against the last on a four-year interval. With Uru Doshi (2024), the blend was largely the same as the original, including the use of tobaccos from rare lots of Honduras, which are not seen throughout Alec Bradley's portfolio. These Honduran leaves were joined by Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the filler and double binder, slightly boosting the overall intensity from 2020 to 2024. Additionally, the Jamastran wrapper of the original was swapped for a Honduran Criollo '98 leaf from the country's Trojes region. Uru Doshi (2024) was rolled in the same 6" x 52 toro format as the original cigar, being limited to 3,000 cigars for Leap Day, 2024.
