The Fine & Rare ANB-228 (2025) cigar marks the 14th release in Alec Bradley's most coveted Fine & Rare line. Since debuting in 2011, the company has released at least one variation of the line nearly every year (skipping 2020 and 2021). While blends have been repeated in the past, there have been a consistent stream of "First Issue" releases since Alec Bradley was acquired by STG in 2023. The 2025 blend was offered in a single 7" x 50 Churchill size, continuing the line's signature inclusion of 10 tobaccos throughout the blend. This includes a Criollo '98 wrapper from Trojés, Honduras and two binders: one from Honduras (Corojo '99 from Trojés) and the other from Nicaragua (Criollo ’98 from Estelí). There are also seven fillers: Honduran Corojo ’99 from Jamastran, Honduran Criollo ’98 from Jamastran, Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 from Jalapa, Mexican San Andrés, Dominican Criollo (unspecified seed year), Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 from Jalapa, and Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 from Estelí. Finally, the project was limited to 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars for 2025.
