Topper 1894

The Topper 1894 cigar came about in 2024, marking the company's 130th anniversary. Interestingly, the company had long claimed to be founded in 1896. However, when Chris Topper, the current owner, discovered a document from his great-grandfather, B.P. Topper, it revealed that the company actually dated back to 1894, two years earlier than previously believed. To commemorate the date, the company introduced the Topper 1894 cigar, featuring a Habano-seed wrapper from Sugar Valley, PA (the company's original home state). There are also Broadleaf tobaccos in the interior recipe. While the company is known for its use of Connecticut Broadleaf, the Topper 1894's Broadleaf was grown in the Dominican Republic.
