While once used throughout the entire cigar, today’s Criollo has taken on new life—especially in hybrid form—as a wrapper leaf prized for its bold spice, nutty backbone, and old-school Cuban character. The seed is most commonly seen in other variants today (Criollo '98, etc.), but this badge represents regular old Criollo (i.e., when manufacturers don't want to specify what version of the leaf they're actually using...).
