Been a while since I’ve checked in at the Dojo, but I’m glad to be back! Weather in the northeast has been crazy not to mention me welcoming my firstborn this last winter!

Enjoying one of my new favs – the Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series. What an amazing clean and smooth smoke!

I know many cigar smokers say it is overrated, but this is definitely one of my favorite cigars. Flavors are so complex! Never had a bad burn one the 4 or 5 I’ve smoked so far either!

I don’t see a lot of Patel fans on here when I scroll through the timeline, and I’m pretty new to the brand to tell you the truth, but I’m REALLY enjoying this cigar so far thru the first 3rd. Absolute bomb of full flavor and the smoke output is amazing. Not sure if this toro vitola is supposed to be box pressed or not, but I’m digging the feel in the hand (also pretty new to box pressed cigars). I definitely recommend!

Had a little bit of a burn issue in the first 3rd but you know what, it actually corrected itself and this stick is tasty as hell! Cherry, leather, a tiny bit of spice on the back of the palate now in the second 3rd. Got chocolate on the pre draw but not much of it during the smoke so far. Smoke output is perfect at 69% humidity! Maybe I should have aged it longer than 3 months? Just means I’ll have to get another!

Not a stick that is in the Dojo database (understandably because it is a house brand cigar), but if you are a fan of Rocky Patel cigars and are in the Washington DC area you should check out Georgetown Tobacco and grab one of these. The manager was telling me that the owner visited Rocky at his factory in Honduras and they worked together to come up with this blend.

Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran binders and fillers. Nice medium body, pleasant smoke! Not to mention less than $8 for any of the 4 vitolas offered (including Churchill)!

One of my favorite sticks - great smoke output. Nice chocolate, leather, medium body. I'm fairly new to cigars but I identified this as a humidor staple after my third time smoking one.
