My latest lighters (though I have hundreds from all of the biggies), have been $3 bigo cigar shaped torches from Menard’s (a large mid-west hardware chain like HomeDepot). Those hold enough fuel for a Shriner’s herf or 2 and make nice gifts for fellows of the leaf. In reply to - detroitdale posted an update

@everyone – Question for you all: When/who invented the “V” cut? I have no historical details. I believe that in the Winston Churchill movie (not accurate I might add), He used a “V” cut but I was informed that in fact Churchill got machine made cigars that were already cut.
