I received this limited edition 120th anniversary Churchill from my Scenic City Cigars family, upon removing the wrapper. I was immediately assaulted with a very pleasant cedar woodsy aroma. Cold draw was a little more musky farmy with notes of hay, which was a different type of cigar that I’m used to smoking, but it was very pleasant. First draw after lighting was that of a decadent, dessert, chocolate, vanilla, caramel almond very enjoyable. This was a very delightful cigar smoking experience. I don’t usual go for the Churchill’s. But after this i may pick up a few more.

I did try to keep the ash a long as i could. It broke loose after about 2 inches. The Cigar burned evenly and never required re lighting. I like that in a cigar.

I enjoyed this well-made cigar, a cool burn, allowing a bold flavor to come through. I picked up a note of some bitter chocolate. Maybe some subtle earth notes. Which I’m not always a fan of. Starting with a sweet anise flavor, fading through the middle of the smoke. It’s on point from start to finish with a smooth flavor and holds strength to the nub. I’d smoke this cigar again.

Not a bad little cigar. At $3.50 you really can’t go wrong. Budget sticks are sometimes hit or miss. But CAO got it right with the Sweet. I didn’t get a pic smoking the sweet as we were driving outta town.

I read another’s thoughts on this stick first. And ran through all those flavor profiles. It helped me out identify what I was tasting throughout the smoke. I’ll admit I was not a fan of a cigar when I first lit it up. It’s a very heavy smoke cigar with very strong notes of chocolate espresso. Next time I’d pair it with an Americano. The wrapper is a very nice oily Maduro leaf. I will say I enjoyed the last third cigar the best. The hubby loved it. I was impressed with the cigar band and gold foil presentation. It’s a nice touch.

I was unsure at first, she’s dark, oily wrapper with a nice aroma. Don’t dismiss this great cigar. I was excited about the smoke after I saw the nice aging within the cellophane wrapper. This stick oozes notes of pepper, spices, cocoa, leather. This cigar was very impressive.
