Mayflower Cigars is the creation of Michael Knowles, host of The Michael Knowles Show, a product of The Daily Wire. A lover of cigars since his early teenage years, Knowles had dreamed up the idea of Mayflower Cigars while studying at Yale University, where he'd started a club: the Society for Intellectual Growth and Reinvigoration (SIGAR). With Mayflower Cigars, Knowles draws inspiration from family heritage and a love for America and its history. In fact, four of his ancestors sailed on the Mayflower voyage in 1620. Mayflower Cigars debuted in 2023 with two cigars (Dusk and Dawn), partnering with the Oliva factory of Nicaragua for production; this is a factory that has deep meaning to Knowles, being his personal favorite manufacturer and the factory that rolled the last box of cigars he was gifted by his mother before her untimely passing. At launch, the company is distributing their product themselves through a direct-to-consumer model.
