Barreda Cigars is a family operation out of Nicaragua, dating back to Don Francisco Barreda, who dedicated his farming operations to tobaccos after learning the trade from Cubans that settled in the region during the 1970s. In the modern era, Francisco's grandson, Oscar Barreda, now offers a portfolio of cigars under the family name, said to be "an art that is the driving force of family pride and a tribute to the land where we were born."
