Punch Dragon Fire is the sixth cigar in the Chinese Zodiac series from Punch, following the Spring Roll (2023), Fu Manchu (2022), Kung Pow! (2021), Chop Suey (2020), and Egg Roll (2019) releases. But where former releases tied into Chinese takeout, Dragon Fire commemorates 2024's Year of the Dragon with a theme of fireworks. The cigars feature packaging made to resemble a box of fireworks, a flat head (a nod to the wood dragon that will preside over 2024), and an extended wrapper that is "pressed down" in order to "replicate the way in which the casing of a firework extends beyond the plug inside." The Punch Dragon Fire features a Mexican maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from the Condega region, and fillers from Nicaragua, the DR, and Honduras.
