Principle Cigars' Archive Collection is unique in that it features authentic memorabilia from meaningful events throughout history in each box of cigars. With the Archive Collection 1842, the cigars include original certificates issued by the New York & Harlem Railroad in 1842, being the world’s first street railway and the only railroad in Manhattan at the time. The year is significant in that it was the first time clean water finally reached Manhattan, being delivered on July 27th. This is said to have spurred the birth of modern New York City. In terms of tobacco, the cigars were rolled in a singular 7½" x 40 lancero format, using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Brazilian Cubra binder, and all-Dominican fillers.
