El Vinyet

El Vinyet from PDR Cigars has an interesting concept: the first 10,000 cigars are bunched by PDR owner Abe Flores himself. The PDR Cigars factory in the DR operates in the same manner as most, rolling cigars in pairs (including a buncher and a roller). With this project, Abe hand-selects the filler recipe each morning, bunching the cigars himself before handing them over to the roller. The cigars use an Ecuador Habano oscuro wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and fillers of Dominican Habano and Pennsylvania Broadleaf. There were 200 boxes in each size rolled for 2023, with the line opening up for larger distribution moving forward.
