Montenegro Batista is part of Privada Cigar Club's President Series, being named after Fulgencio Batista, the former leader of Cuba before communist takeover during the late '50s. The cigar imagines what classic Cuban cigars may have looked like had Batista remained in power, drawing inspiration from the mob-backed casinos of Cuba's past to showcase a "neon, casino-style flair." The cigars are Nicaraguan puro, being aged for eight years prior to release.
