Macanudo Emissary France debuted in 2025, following the brand's former Macanudo Emissary España. The cigar continues the focus on tobaccos not normally featured in the premium market—namely, a French tobacco from the Mugron River Valley, which was grown near Bordeaux. This four-year-aged leaf, located in the cigar's filler, is joined by an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper (aged 10 years), a USA Broadleaf binder (aged 10 yeas), and a filler blend composed of Dominican Piloto (aged 10 years), USA Broadleaf (aged eight years), and Brazilian Arapiraca (aged seven years). Macanudo describes the French component as "[imparting] nuanced notes of salt and dark berries, delivering a refined and complex smoking experience. "
