Luciano Underrated was made in collaboration with former NBA player Ron Harper, with the duo setting out to offer an affordable luxury cigar, "proving that magnificence often lies unnoticed." The cigars feature a surprisingly complex recipe for the price point, boasting a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers of Connecticut Broadleaf, Ecuadorian HVA, and 2020-'21-vintage medio tiempo from Nicaragua’s Pueblo Nuevo region. The latter was harvested during a short crop season, resulting in a unique fermentation process that involved lower temperatures and longer time in the pilones.
