JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano

JR Cigar introduced their more premium brand, JR Pure Origin, in 2022 with the JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano cigar. The blend was made in collaboration with Rafael Nodal and Nestor Plasencia, using a Nicaraguan puro recipe that is said to be "grown using environmentally friendly methods of cultivation." The cigar centers on Ometepe tobacco, taking its name from the nutrient-rich volcanic soil of the two volcanoes rising out of Lake Nicaragua. The blend includes a Habano wrapper from the Jalapa valley over an Ometepe binder and fillers of the Ometepe and Jalapa regions.
