As the company that lays claim to dragons (at least, theoretically, as they pertain to cigars), Gurkha took good advantage of 2024's Year of the Dragon Chinese zodiac symbol, releasing not one but five Year of the Dragon cigars. One such blend was made in collaboration with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and his Casa Carrillo factory in the DR. The Gurkha Year of the Dragon 2024 by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo makes use of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, an Ecuadorian Connecticut binder, and fillers of the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The cigars were rolled in a 6⅝" x 54 toro size, which was limited to 2,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
