The Grace O’Malley Pirate Queen cigar was released by Trash Panda Cigars in 2025, being an homage to its namesake female pirate of the 16th century. The project was developed by Kevin Shahan (owner of Trash Panda) with the help of Riste Ristevski (of JSK Cigars), making use of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a double Jalapa seco binder, and undisclosed fillers. Additionally, the rolled cigars were stored in spent rum casks from Sazerac Company, which formerly contained Myers’s Rum. The cigars were stored with the casks on their sides (differing from the vertical norm) for 94 days, being rotated every two to three days. Grace O’Malley Pirate Queen was rolled in a single 5" x 52 format, being limited to 1,500 cigars for the 2025 release.
