The Encore Black cigar is a spinoff of E.P. Carrillo's Encore line, falling under the company's acclaimed Perez-Carrillo series. The blend first debuted as a shop-exclusive pre-release on Black Friday 2023, later shipping in larger quantities in early 2024. Encore Black features a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and fillers from Nicaragua’s Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa regions, making for a fuller-bodied compliment to the original Encore. At launch, the cigars were rolled in a single 5⅜" x 52 format, being limited to 5,000 boxes per year.
