The E.P. Carrillo Connecticut cigar debuted in 2025, marking the fourth installment in the company's Essence Series, which focuses on the unique characteristics of various wrapper styles. Uncharacteristic of Carrillo, the cigar is not rolled out of the company's own Casa Carrillo factory in the DR—instead being crafted in Honduras. The cigars debuted in a range of three sizes, featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Honduran Criollo '98 binder, and fillers from Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
