The Davidoff Maduro cigar was first rolled between 2008 and 2016, later being brought back in 2024 with a tweaked recipe. This cigar makes use of a high-priming Ecuadorian maduro wrapper over a Mexican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. For the 2024 version, the wrapper is said to be fermented for twice as long as usual, lasting 16 months in the pilones before an added aging process.
