Paniolo Especiale 2023

Among the most popular regional releases from Crowned Heads is the Paniolo Especiale, which has been released to the Hawaiian market through R. Field Wine Co. almost every year consecutively since debuting in 2015 (the only missed year was in 2021). As such, the 2023 edition marks the eighth overall release, partnering with the TacaNicsa factory (formerly known as Tabacalera Pichardo) for the first time in the series. Paniolo is no stranger to Broadleaf-wrapped blends, and the '23 release revises the style, using a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and fillers from three regions of Nicaragua (Jalapa, Condega, and Ometepe). The cigars were rolled in a single 5½" x 52 robusto extra format, being limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.
