CAO follows the 2014 original Amazon Basin cigar with the CAO Amazon Basin Extra Añejo, offering a similar recipe with added age. The cigar uses a high-priming Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers of the DR and Colombia (including the cigar's signature Amazonian Bragança tobacco). For the Amazon Basin Extra Añejo, the cigars were rolled in 2021 and aged for nearly two years in a room lined with fragrant Spanish cedar.
