The original Bolivar Cofradia cigar was joined by the Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro in 2024, featuring a similar old-school look and a new US-grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The blend is rounded out with tobaccos from four countries (five when you include the wrapper), including an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran filler. The Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro is described as "a bold and meaty smoke that juxtaposes peppery notes with hints of coffee and chocolate and delivers lingering notes of earth and spice on the finish."
