Details

The Armando Artamendi Cabinet Selection Sun Grown is the first cigar under the Armando Artamendi brand, which is something of a collaboration between Isaias Santana Diaz (Pure Aroma Cigars) and Armando Artamendia (Aficionado’s Premium Cigars & Wine). The cigars were blended by Santana Diaz and Andres León (owner of Tabacos de Costa Rica), making use of an Ecuadorian Habano sun-grown colorado wrapper, an undisclosed binder, and five-year-aged fillers of the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua’s Jalapa region. Additionally, the wrapper is said to feature triple fermentation during the course of 10 months, then being finished in Spanish cedar boxes for one year. The finished cigars are then rested for 120 days in aging rooms before spending another 120 days in Spanish cedar boxes.
