The 22 °N / 83 °W cigar is unique in that it is made entirely from a single seed varietal, yet features tobaccos from five countries. The name stems from the coordinates of the Hacienda el Corojo plantation of Cuba, where some claim that the best tobaccos in the world were grown from 1930–1990. With the 22 °N / 83 °W cigar, these El Corojo seeds have been transplanted and harvested in Brazil (wrapper), Costa Rica (binder), Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic (filler).
