The Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Midnight Twist cigar debuted in 2024 as the followup to the former RyJ barber pole from 2022: Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Twisted. Where the former was based on the original Reserva Real blend, the Nicaragua Midnight Twist builds upon the Reserva Real Nicaragua. The cigars were made by the duo of Rafael Nodal and A.J. Fernández, launching in two sizes and featuring a Nicaraguan puro recipe from Fernández's farms (including two shades of Nicaraguan leaf for the barber pole wrapper).
