Quinquagenario

One of the longest and, no doubt, hardest-to-pronounce cigar titles, RoMa Craft's Quinquagenario (pronounced kwin-kwah-jin-ar-ee-oh) was made in celebration of the 50th birthday of Skip Martin, co-owner / founder of RoMa Craft Tobac. Fittingly, the name is a Spanish term used to describe someone in their 50s. The cigar differs significantly from RoMa Craft's staple attributes of Nicaraguan craftsmanship (being closely associated with the Fabrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño factory) and affordable price points, being offered as a more limited/luxurious experience. In fact, Quinquagenario is the first RoMa Craft cigar to be rolled outside of Nica Sueño factory, with RoMa Craft moving outside their comfort zone to have the cigars rolled by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and his Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the DR. As Carrillo is known for his expertise in the realm of Sumatra wrapper, the cigars were rolled with an Ecuadorian Sumatra cover leaf, surrounding a Dominican binder and filler blend. The cigars were rolled in a single 5" x 50 robusto format and limited to 50,000 cigars.
