The Red Meat Lovers Club cigar was first released in 2019 as the 12th collaboration in retailer Smoke Inn's beloved Microblend Series. Where most Microblend cigars are a collaboration between Smoke Inn and a cigar manufacturer, the RMLC (as it is known) was a three-part mashup, including Smoke Inn, Dunbarton, and the Red Meat Lovers Club of South Florida, which is a meat-themed organization that aims to bond its group members over their common desires to “eat beef, drink, smoke, and laugh.” After several annual launches of the cigar—which was blended as the perfect steak pairing—Dunbarton and the RMLC took the cigar national in 2023, offering a suite of four sizes on a regular basis. The blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf No. 1 dark wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés negro oscuro binder, and fillers from Nicaragua (Estelíano La Joya C98 seco, Ometepe viso, and Jalapa Cofradia ligero) and the US (Pennsylvanian Seedleaf ligero).
